Definitions

Legal Framework
TransitieProfs collects data about your visit to our website, including your IP address, the origin of your visit, and the parts of our website you visited and how long you spent there, on the basis of Article 8(f) of the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (WBP) and Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The relevant articles of law deal with the legitimate interest of a data controller, which also includes the collection of personal data for marketing purposes.
In the event that you fill in a contact form for the purpose of downloading white papers and similar documents or to indicate your interest in being called back by one of TransitieProfs' employees, TransitieProfs considers that the processing of the data you have entered takes place on the basis of Article 8(a) of the WBP and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. This article deals with the explicit consent of the data subject. TransitieProfs has also taken security measures to send completed forms securely (encrypted) via an SSL certificate.
Purposes of data processing and collection
TransitieProfs collects data about your visit to the website for the purpose of optimizing your site experience and for marketing purposes. In the context of these actions, TransitieProfs supplements the data collected from you with data that is publicly available from sources such as public DNS services and publicly available social media information.
In subsequent marketing campaigns, your details may be supplemented with further contact and availability details based on telephone or email contact. The data collected by TransitieProfs is business data from individuals who have shown an interest in TransitieProfs, for example by visiting the website.

Processors and disclosure to third parties
Visitor statistics for marketing campaigns are processed via the Online Succes online application. Online Succes is a SaaS application that qualifies as a processor under the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (WBP) and the GDPR. We also use HubSpot.
The data collected by TransitieProfs about your visit to the website will not be provided or sold to third parties, except in cases where TransitieProfs is required to do so by law or regulation.
Your rights
In accordance with the law, you have the right to view the personal data collected about you by TransitieProfs, or to supplement, correct, or request the removal and destruction of this data. A request for access, supplementation, correction, removal, or destruction will be responded to by TransitieProfs within a reasonable period of time, but no later than four weeks. You can submit a request to view, supplement, correct, delete, or destroy your personal data to the Data Protection Officer at TransitieProfs.

Duties of Transition Professionals
TransitieProfs undertakes to process personal data collected by TransitieProfs in connection with visits to our website and the further processing and enrichment thereof with due care and to implement and maintain appropriate organizational and technical security measures to prevent access by unauthorized employees or third parties, corruption of data, or accidental destruction.
TransitieProfs will also remove personal data that is not necessary for the legitimate interest from its data processing operations.
